MEADUS, Kathryn- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Sunday, March 8, 2009, Kathryn Meadus of Grates Cove, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Clarence; two sons: Tolson and Harry; two brothers: Gilbert and Simeon Hodder; two sisters: Annie Kelland and Lizzie May Bailey Leaving to mourn: four daughters: Marilyn (Cecil) Meadus, Grates Cove, Janice (Andrew) Delaney, Ochre Pit Cove, Sandra (Clyde) Button, Victoria and Valerie (Paul) Delaney, Grates Cove; three sons: Don (Mary), Victoria, Wesley (Judy) and Derrick (Crystal), both of Grates Cove; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one sister: Margaret Holloway, Musgravetown; sister-in-law: Lillian Hodder, Grates Cove, daughters-in-law: Florence Meadus, Victoria and Sadie Meadus, Coley's Cove; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Lambert, Grates Cove, Isabelle Rowsell, CBS, Marcella Meadus, Carbonear and Lucy Meadus, Shoal Harbour; brother-in-law: Douglas (Olive) Meadus, Ontario; also a very large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Grates Cove. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Luke's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Grates Cove.
