DUNNE, Shirley J.- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, Shirley J. Dunne of Carbonear, age 70 years. Predeceased by Parents: William and Ada Pynn; sister: Rose Marie and brother-in-law: Howard Jewer. Leaving to mourn: two daughters: Elizabeth (Gavin) and Debbie Dunne both of Cambridge, ON; one son: Michael (Candy), Cambridge, ON; four grandchildren: Laurel, Tyler, Kathleen and Dawn; one brother: Jim (Rosalyn) Pynn, Carbonear; seven sisters: Beatrice (Gordon) Bears, Florida, USA, Lucy Jewer, Spaniard's Bay, Lillian Osmond, Ottawa, ON, Ann (Chesley) Peddle and Ada (David) Peddle, both of Bristol's Hope, Sandra (Allan) Hatcher and Ruby (Victor) King, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
