BUTT, Malcolm- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, May 25, 2009, Malcolm G. Butt of Carbonear, age 84 years. Predeceased by first wife: Stella; brothers: Harold, Lloyd, Reuben and Frank; sisters: Elsie, Bertha, Edna and Lizzie. Leaving to mourn: wife: Doris; three daughters; Vera (Arthur) Roy and Brenda (Gerald) Companion, both of Scarborough, ON and Noreen Butt, Toronto, ON; one son; Andrew (Eileen), Fort McMurray, AB; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, stepchildren: Woodrow (Eileen) Snow, Kelligrews and Sylvia (Melvin) Fillier, Thompson, Manitoba; one brother: Hayward (Gertrude), Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Butt, Carbonear and Florence Butt, Kitchener, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Daffodil Place, St. John's.
