Sullivan, Gordon P.- Passed peacefully away after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital, Labrador City, Gordon P. Sullivan, age 61 years. Predeceased by son: JJ, father: John, brother: Donald, father and mother-in-law: Frank and Sadie Furey. Leaving to mourn, wife and best friend for 36 years, Helen and son: Michael (Samarra), Labrador City, mother: Anna, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; brothers and sisters: Helen (Bill), Francis (Charles), Maurice (Margaret), Ed (Viola) and Gerard; sister-in-law: Winnie, brothers-in-law: Jim (Irene) and Gerry; as well as seven nieces and nine nephews; special niece and nephew: Melissa and Matthew who grow up with their uncle Gordon in Labrador City plus a number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Penney's Funeral Home in Labrador City on June 7th. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace, June 9th from 7:30-10:00 p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, June 10th at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery Harbour Grace. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted. "A Gentle Man and a Gentleman"
