LESHANE, Philip C.- Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, Philip C. LeShane of Lower Island Cove, age 80 years. Predeceased by brother: Fred; parents: Robert & Mary LeShane. Leaving to mourn wife: Florence; two daughters: Myrtle (Scott) Clarke and Glenda (Todd) Oliver, both of Gull Island; one son: Bruce (Greta), Oshawa, ON; six grandchildren: Philip (Jolene & Tori), Kyle, Amber, Drew, Ian and Dawn; two brothers: Lloyd (Jean) and Frank (Margaret), both of Lower Island Cove; sisters-in-law: Ethel LeShane, Mabel (Philip) Sparkes, both of Lower Island Cove, Myrtle (John) Clarke, Jacqueline (Issac) Gilbert, both of Calgary, AB; brothers-in-law: Fred (Geri) Garland, Mount Pearl and Gordon (Peggy) Garland, Lower Island Cove, also many nephews, nieces, cousins and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Funeral service to take place on Friday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
