To the Snow family. It is with sadness to learn of the passing of Mr. Snow, please accept my condolences for your loss. My early childhood memories include watching Mr. Snow fulfilling his duties as the Carbonear’s town policeman. Whether walking the beat in the Water Street area or attending the Remembrance Day ceremonies, Mr. Snow was always seen proudly wearing his uniform. A friendly and approachable man, he always had a kind word for whoever took the time to stop and have a conversation with him – I remember and cherish these encounters with Mr. Snow when I was walking home from school. This trait carried on into his retirement where he continued his beat in the hallway of the Trinity Conception Square, still having a kind word for whoever he encountered. Bill will surely be missed.

Mrs Snow & Family Bev and I are sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I (Ed) have known Bill for a long time, since the 1960's when we both worked at M.A. Powells and then of course as neighbours of my parents on Quarter's Lane. It was always a pleasure chatting with Bill. I remember when I would come home on leave, my car wouldn't be in my parents driveway very long before Bill would come in to welcome me home and have a chat. Unfortunately, because of other commitments Bev and I will not be able to attend Bill's funeral today. Our prayer is that God will continue to bless you and your family Mrs Snow and give you the strength to get through this difficult time. "Rest eternal grant unto him O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon him. Amen" The Reverend Ed & Beverly Samson
