LESHANE, Brenda P. - Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, Brenda P. LeShane of Lower Island Cove, age 51 years. Predeceased by parents: Edward and Veronica Oliver; 3 infant brothers; brother-in-law: John Dennis; father-in-law: Alec LeShane. Leaving to mourn, husband: Derrick; one daughter: Melanie (Matt), St. John's; one son: Curtis, St. John's; four brothers: Phil (Rose) Oliver, Torbay, Tony (Joanne) Oliver and Sammy (Marlene) Oliver, both of Old Perlican and Paul (Cathy) Oliver, Caplin Cove; three sisters: Ellen Dennis, Lower Island Cove, Mary (Tom) Cox, Harbour Breton and Margaret (Dave) Snelgrove, Lower Island Cove; mother-in-law: Betty LeShane, Lower Island Cove; sister-in-law: Linda (Paul) Puddester, Lower Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove after 10:30 a.m. Friday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
