DAVIS, Gordon- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, Gordon Davis of Carbonear, age 72 years. Predeceased by parents: Norman and Mahala; sister: Mary Helmholtz and brother: Russell. Leaving to mourn, sister: Helen (Brendan) Thomey, Harbour Grace; nieces: Patricia March (Allan Pilgrim), Calgary, AB, Helen (Salvia), Halifax, NS, Phyllis (Joe) Hunt, Brenda (Lloyd) Reid and Linda (Bruce Sheppard), all of Harbour Grace; many other special nieces and nephews as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Special Thanks to Art and Evelyn Gosse and Darlene at Gosse's Nursing Home, Spaniard's Bay for your support and care to Gordon. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in Gordon's memory may be made to the Gordon Davis Memorial Fund.
