MURRAY, George W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 21, 2009, George W. Murray of Victoria, age 64 years. Predeceased by father: Herbert. Leaving to mourn, wife: Marie; two sons: Darrin (Joy), Gander and Chris (Wendy), Conception Bay South; four grandchildren: Jacob, Nicholas, Genieva and Solomon; mother: Naomi Murray, Carbonear; one brother: Herb Jr., Conception Bay South; two sisters: Shirley Murray, St. John's and Linda (Brian) Green, Carbonear; mother-in-law: Genieva Priddle, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in George's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
