CURNEW, Allan J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, November 20, 2009, Allan J. Curnew of Victoria, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Jabez and Pamiela; brother: William Hayward. Leaving to mourn, wife: Audrey; one daughter: Brenda (Dean) Brookings, Edmonton, AB; one son: Sheldon J. (Connie), Coquitlam, BC; two grandchildren: Alexander and Nicholas; two brothers: Lloyd, Carbonear and Arthur Nicholas ( Hilda), Victoria; two sisters: Annie White, Victoria and Nina Crocker, Bauline; three sisters-in-law: Bertha Snow and Nina Curnew, both of Victoria and Louise Snow, Carbonear; special niece: Nina Evely, Victoria; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Allan J. Curnew Memorial Fund.
