Miss Glover had this sure-fire remedy for a sore throat and it never failed. As sure as something came up where I had to sing I would get a scratchy throat. She created this concoction of lemon juice, honey and the rest is a mystery. She would give it to me for two days (once a day) and my throat would get better. She swore by it and so do I. I never did find out what exactly was in it.
