HALLIDAY, Ivy V.- Passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Saturday, December 26, 2009, Ivy V. Halliday of Job's Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband: Melvin. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Marilyn (John) Mahaney, Job's Cove and Cheryl (Keith) Rodgers, Old Perlican; one son: Terry (Jackie), Western Bay; five grandchildren: Jennifer (Jim), Ryan, Heather (Scott), Stacey and Megan; two great-grandchildren: Haley and Logan; one sister: Beatrice Way, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in the United Cemetery, Job's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Ivy's memory may be made to the Ivy Halliday Memorial Fund or a charity of one's choice.
