SELLARS, Violet S.- Passed peacefully away at her daughter's residence, Mount Pearl on Saturday, December 26, 2009, Violet S. Sellars of Western Bay, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband: William C.R.; parents: William and Marion Legge. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Sandra (John) Simmons and Carol (Boivan) Crummey, both of Mount Pearl; three sons: Barry (Mercedes), Mount Pearl, Randy, The Pas, Manitoba, Blair (Leona), St. Paul, Alberta; eight grandchildren: Michelle, Sean, Laurie, Melissa, Jason, Tyler, Charles and Blake; one sister: Joyce (Daniel) Jerrett, St. John's; sister-in-law: Pearl Clarke, Luxury Estates, Carbonear and special friend: Maxwell Rideout, North River; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay North. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Violet's memory may be made to the McDowell United Church or to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
