PILGRIM, Edward- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, Edward Pilgrim of Carbonear, age 82 years. Predeceased by infant son: George; parents: Harold and Bessie; brothers-in-law: James O'Flaherty, Clifford Nelson and Frank Clarke. Leaving to mourn, wife: Myrtle; one daughter: Karen Milley (Marston), Carbonear; one son: Calvin (Cavell), North River; three grandchildren: Kurt, Vickie and Bruce; one great-grandchild: Jaden; one brother: Bonnell (Alma), Carbonear; six sisters: Nina Nelson, Florida, USA, Doreen (Norman) Parsons, Gander, Dorothy Clarke, Kaye O'Flaherty and Frances Pilgrim (Janet), all of Ontario and Marie (Ken) Tiley, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Edward's memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel Band Fund, Carbonear.
