WHITE, Bertha- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, February 7, Bertha White of Carbonear; formerly of Ochre Pit Cove, age 100 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Mary Ann; brothers: John Clarence, George Edward, Samuel, Donald Scott and Chesley; sisters: Jessie Violet, Leah, Alma, Dorothy Eva and Mildred; sister-in-law: Dorothy. Leaving to mourn, brother: Charles Irving (Olive), Toronto, ON; nieces: Donna White and Marlene White, both of Toronto, ON, Kathleen (Al) Hopkins and their children: Adam and Vanessa, all of Owen Sound, ON; nephew: George (Eileen) White, Huntsville, ON, their children: Erin (Chris) Doyle (daughter: Zoe), Melbourne, Australia and Leanne White, Huntsville, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, February 11, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Bertha's memory may be made to the Ochre Pit Cove United Cemetery Fund or to the TCP Health Foundation.
