Obituary of Madge M. Howell

HOWELL, Madge M.- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, February 18, 2010, Madge M. Howell of Carbonear, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: Russell; infant son, 1951; brothers: Ronald Hayter and Allan Hayter. Leaving to mourn: four daughters: Pamela (Peter) Moore, Mississauga, ON, Gertrude (Gerald) Dominie, Pasadena, Deborah (Jackson) Butt, Carbonear and Carolyn Howell, Mississauga, ON; three sons: Duncan (Eva), Carbonear, John (Daphne), Eastport and Willis (Fay), Foxtrap; ten grandchildren: Keith, Claire, Jared, Peter, William, Cheryl, Phillip, John, Sarah and Andrew; three great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Rachel and Bethany; brother: Lester Hayter, Carbonear; sister: Olive Butt, Perth, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Monday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Madge's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Visitation hours by request of the family on Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
