JOHNSON, John S. 'Jack'- Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, John S. 'Jack' Johnson of Job's Cove, age 75 years. Predeceased by parents: Caleb and Edith; brothers: Joseph and Stan; sister: Harriett. Leaving to mourn, wife: Ruby; four daughters: Wanda (Avalon) Mansfield, Old Perlican, Gail (Kevin) Milley, Adams Cove, Sheila Johnson, Job's Cove and Kelly (Stephen) Slade, Conception Bay South; two sons: Derek (Paula), Job's Cove and Chad, Alberta; seven grandchildren: Kimberley (Ryan), Brent, Chantelle (Ryan), Sheldon, Justin, Christopher, Payton, Amber and Brianna; two brothers: Calvin (Sharon) and Murley, both of Job's Cove; also his special Angel; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held on Friday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the MS Society of NL or to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
