HALLIDAY, Philip Joseph - Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Sunday, April 15, 2012, Philip Joseph Halliday of Northern Bay, age 87 years. Predeceased by wife: Muriel; son-in-law: Les; brothers: Berkley, Allan, Archibald and Albert; sisters: Irene, Bessie and Susie. Leaving to mourn, three sons: Clyde (Debbie), Etobicoke, ON, Derick (Tina) and Robert (Lisa), both of Northern Bay; two daughters: Elizabeth (Byron) Rose and Katherine Penney, both of Salmon Cove eight grandchildren: Sandra, Nicole, Crystal, Carrie, Kayla, Philip, Lindsay and Alyssa; two great-grandchildren: Damian and Aiden; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Halliday, Manuels and Lily (Donald) Penney, Scarborough, ON; brothers-in-law: Raymond (Lillian) Reynolds and George (Evelyn) Reynolds, both of Northern Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Monday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Interment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the NL Lung Association.
