Obituary of Joseph 'Joe' Crowley

CROWLEY, Joseph W.C. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, Joseph W.C. Crowley of Western Bay, age 85 years. Predeceased by wife: Edith; parents: Samuel and Cecily; brothers: Murdock and Grayson; sisters: Janie and Hazel. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Cecily Elliott, London, ON, Linda (Carl) Jenkins and Viola Sellars (Eddie Scott), both of Western Bay; three sons: Snowdon (Christine), London, ON, Samuel (Noria), Waterloo, ON and Murdock (Wendy), Morinville, AB; seventeen grandchildren: Eadie (Bob), Donny (Kathy), Kathy (Rick), Tammy (Martin), Kelly (Robert), Robert (Emily), Jamie, Richard, Lisa (Steve), Preston (Ashley), Curtis (Jodie), Carrie (Hule), Angie (Darrell), Terry (Robin), Jason, Shawn (Stacy) and Neil (Marlene); twenty-one great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Clarice Crowley, Western Bay and Violet Hull, Twillingate; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the McDowell United Cemetery, Western Bay South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to McDowell United Church, Western Bay.
