EVELY, Edwin J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, March 25, 2010, Edwin J. Evely of Victoria, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Gordon and Mary Ellen 'Molly'; sister: Jean; three brothers: Everett, Benjamin and Graham; parents-in-law: James and Clara Penney. Leaving to mourn: wife, Emmie of 53 years; four daughters: Tina (Melvin) Baldwin, Mollie (Jeffrey) Clarke and Kimberley (Tony) Harris, all of Victoria; Linda (Kevin) Farrell, Harbour Grace; two sons: Kenneth (Karen), Labrador City and Barry (Carolyn), Victoria; the love of his life fifteen grandchildren: Melanie, Crissy, Stacey, Jamie, Jennifer, Justeen, Jeffrey, Jessica, Noah, Barry, Andrew, Ashley, Kristopher, Kory and Kourtney; two great-grandchildren: Leah and Evan; two brothers: Robert (Emma) and Lloyd (Lavinia), both of Victoria; two sisters: Daphne (Wally) Green and Donna (Clifford) Harris, both of Victoria; sisters-in-law: Rose Evely, Victoria, Rosalie Evely and Olive Evely, both of Brampton, ON and Shirley (Gordon) Williams, Harbour Grace; brothers-in-law: Jim (Marjorie) Penney, Carbonear, Selby (Diane) Penney, Paradise and Des Clarke, Victoria; step-mother: Freda Evely, Victoria; two step-brothers: Dennis (Kim) Evely and Phillip Evely, both of Victoria; three step-sisters: Gloria (Kevin) McCarthy, Harbour Grace, Theresa (Calvin) Smith, Upper Island Cove and Sherry (Greg) Butt, Victoria; dear friend and considered a part of family: Tracey Fahey, Victoria, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
