SQUIBB, Lillian- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, May 23, 2010, Lillian Squibb of Carbonear, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: James, sons: Harold, Charlie and Jim Jr.; daughters: Ethel and Violet. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Marjorie Squibb, Nova Scotia, May (Arthur) Burke, Victoria and Shirley (Ralph) Ellsworth, Carbonear; one son: Gordon (Carol Ann), Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Linda Squibb, Carbonear; a large number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours by request of the family on Monday, May 24 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., 7:00 P.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 25 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Carbonear.
