Obituary of Robert C. Seymour

SEYMOUR, Robert C.- Passed peacefully but suddenly away in the presence of his loving wife at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, July 29, 2010, Robert C. Seymour of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Former CN Employee. Predeceased by parents: Robert and Elizabeth; brothers: Solomon and Bert; sister: Violet and infant baby sister: Dot. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 45 years, Maxine; one daughter: Laura (Lamonte) Stagg, Bareneed; one son: Robert (Glenda), Coley's Point; two precious grandchildren: Megan and Aaron; two sisters: Freda Mercer, Harbour Grace and Mary (Jack) Mercer, Spaniard's Bay; sisters-in-law: Charlotte Seymour and Jessie Seymour, both of St. John's; special friend: sister Rosaline Hynes; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace with visitation hours by request of the family, Saturday, July 31 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. Inurnment on Wednesday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Paul's Anglican Church Restoration Fund.
