TAYLOR, Herman - Passed suddenly but peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, August 15, 2010, Herman Taylor of Victoria, age 72 years. Predeceased by father: Charles; brother: Jim; infant brother: Norman and brother-in-law: Bill Pike. Leaving to mourn, wife: Elizabeth 'Betty'; one daughter: Debbie (John) Kelloway, Victoria; two sons: Ken (Debbie) and Bill (Elizabeth), both of Victoria; five grandchildren: Crystal, Michael, Meaghan, Danielle and Arianna; mother: Catherine, Harbour Grace; one brother: Edward (Irene), Harbour Grace; four sisters: Minnie Pike, Harbour Grace, Helen (Norm) Hennifent, St. John's, Verna (Bill) Farrell, Harbour Grace and Linda (Silas) Penney, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Inurnment to take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
