TUCKER, Yvonne Marie - Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family and friends at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, September 18, 2010, Yvonne Marie Tucker of Mount Pearl formerly of Burnt Point, age 58 years. Predeceased by parents: Levi and Jean Tucker. Leaving to mourn, two sisters: Phyllis (Clarence) Chubbs and Nita (Leslie) Chubbs, both of Carbonear; two step-brothers: Fred (Beatrice) Tucker and Ches Tucker, both of Ontario; one step-sister: Effie Dawe, Long Pond; special niece: Lori (Shawn) Barnes, St. John's; cherished great-nephew: Nathan; special friend: Roslyn Gosse, Paradise; also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, St. John's on Monday, Sept. 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., then resting at the Gospel Hall, Burnt Point on Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 2:00 p.m. from the Gospel Hall, Burnt Point. Cremation to follow. A private family inurnment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
