KENNELL, Melvin G. - Passed suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 4, 2010, Melvin G. Kennell of Western Bay, age 66 years. Predeceased by parents: Freeman and Effie; granddaughter: Jessica Oates. Leaving to mourn, wife: Linda; three daughters: Cathy (Glenn) O'Grady, Ontario, Connie (Curtis) King, Western Bay and Christine (Darrell) Oates, Carbonear; seven grandchildren: Glenn, Lucas, Justin, Ryan, Samantha, Meggan and Matthew; two sisters: Bernice (Robert) Tizzard, Lower Island Cove and Leona (Eugene) Hogan, Northern Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, October 7 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and on Friday, October 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A Service of Tribute will take place on Friday, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay.
