SQUIBB, Violet J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 31, 2005, Violet J. Squibb of Carbonear, age 72 years. Predeceased by father: James; brother: James Jr.; sister: Ethel. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Peggy, Dorothy and Carol Anne; one son: Howard; mother: Lillian, Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear; one brother: Gord (Carol Anne), Carbonear; three sisters: Marjorie Schofield, Nova Scotia, May (Arthur) Burke, Victoria and Shirley (Ralph) Ellsworth, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear and from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
