Obituary of R. Peddle

PEDDLE, R. George - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, May 3, 2003, R. George Peddle of Bristol's Hope, age 85 years. Predeceased by first wife: Minnie; brothers: Albert and Harry; sisters: Catherine, Lillian, Olive and Helen, sister-in-law: Violet; brothers-in-law: Harry, Jehu and Cyril. Leaving to mourn: wife: Berdina; three daughters: Pauline Churchill, Bay Roberts, Jacqueline Peddle and Maxine Peddle, both of Bristol's Hope; four sons: John, Wayne (Sharon), Erroll (Corrine) and Boyde (Ada), all of Bristol's Hope; two step-sons: Robert and Brad MacDonald, both of St. John's; fourteen grandchildren: Sarah, Jackie, Cory, Erica, Roderick, Barbara-Lynn; Natasha, Lindsey, Robert, Erika, Sacha, Saige, Christopher and Andrew; five sisters: Mary Bulgin and Edith Butt, both of Carbonear, Effie (Wm.) Taylor, Bristol's Hope, Asenith Rose, Salmon Cove and Thelma (Edgar) Gillard, London, ON; two brothers-in-law: Walter Parsons, Harbour Grace and Sandy King, Mississauga, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace or a charity of one's choice.
