ASH, Hedley G. - Passed away suddenly at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 4, 2003, Hedley G. Ash of Harbour Grace, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Llewellyn and Jennie Ash. Leaving to mourn wife: Beatrice 'Bea'; one son: Derek (Evelyn), Carbonear; one daughter: Joy (John) Prince, Unity, SK; four grandchildren: Jason, Bradley, Katie and Jade; one brother: Walter Ash, Harbour Grace; two sisters: Doris Gosse, Gander and Hazel (Willis) Regular, Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Marcella Swain and Leila Rose, both of Carbonear; brother-in-law: Ted (Joyce) Churchill, Labrador City; special cousin: Mildred 'Mimi' Churchill, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Wednesday, May 7. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. No flowers by request; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, St. John's. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily. For any additional information please call Noel's Funeral Home at 596-5750.
