COLLINS, Bernard F. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 8, 2003, Bernard F. Collins of Harbour Grace, age 86 years. Predeceased by wife: Eleanor; granddaughter: Ellen; brothers: Jim, Harry, Mike and Jack; sister: Nellie. Leaving to mourn: four daughters: Bernice (Donald) Dawe and Deirdre (Wade) Hynes, both of NS, Catherine (Dennis) King, Harbour Grace and Paulette (Bill) Pilgrim, Goose Bay; three sons: Aiden (Paulette), Carbonear, Paul (Debbie) and Gerard, both of Harbour Grace; twelve grandchildren: Krista (Nigel), Alyson (Jason), Jennifer, Ian, Neal (Emilie), Cindy (Steve), Tiffany, Christopher, Sarah, Mary, Bernie and Liam; two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Nicholas; one brother: Jerry (Theresa), Paradise; sister-in-law: Anne Moriarty, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, November 11 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
