Obituary of Pleman W. White

WHITE, Pleman W.- Passed peacefully away at his daughters residence, Bay Roberts on Thursday, July 6, 2006, Pleman W. White of Carbonear, age 97 years. Predeceased by wife: Stella; daughter-in-law: Shirley; son-in-law: Harold Badcock; three brothers and eight sisters. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Violet Badcock, Bay Roberts, Joyce (Jack) Rodgers, Hants Harbour and Anita (Morley) Grandy, Bay Roberts; six sons: Eric, Carbonear, Lloyd (Maxine), Bay Roberts, Clarence (Wendy), Cambridge, ON, Marston (Karen), Carbonear, David (Sheila), Spaniard's Bay and Bob (Lucille), Cambridge, ON; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; two special foster-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Beatrice Butt, Blackhead and Myrtle Slade, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Sunday, July 9. Funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear.
