DWYER, Ronald J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, June 30, 2007, Ronald J. Dwyer of Carbonear, age 96 years. Predeceased by wife: Julia, son: Thomas J., sister: Loretta and son-in-law: Karl. Leaving to mourn, eight daughters: Marina (Matthew) Brazil, Spaniard's Bay, Joan Arns, St. John's, Bride (Lawrence) Penney, Torbay, Mary Dwyer (Ben Baker), Nora (William) Kent, Lillian (William) Hynes and Catherine (Thomas) Hynes, all of Carbonear and Paula Quinn (Tom Gaulton), Mount Pearl; four sons: Ron (Joan), Blackhead, Ned (Gertrude 'Gee') and James (Angela), both of Carbonear and Paul (Marina), Upper Island Cove; daughter-in-law: Cherree, Carbonear; forty-four grandchildren; fifty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Margaret Noonan, Bay de Verde; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear and from where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.
