Obituary of John J. Rowe

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, John J. Rowe of Carbonear, age 83 years. Predeceased by 1st wife: Lillian; 2nd wife: Joselyn; son: David; grandson: Stephen; granddaughter: Melissa; brother: Wesley; sisters: Phyllis, Dorothy and Rosalie. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Ruth (Clarence) Howell, London, ON and Rosalie (Brian) Peddle, London, England; three sons: Wesley (Elsie), Carbonear, Perry, Ottawa, ON, and Tony (Susan), Broad Cove; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four step-daughters: Hilda (Barry) Reilly and Judy (Brian) Clarke, both of Stanley, NB, Flora (Bob) Arsenault, Minto, NB, and Jennifer (Byron) Moores, Victoria; one step-son: Neil (Bev) Butt, Salmon Cove. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear.
