Bruce,
We are thinking of you as we remember Daphne; not even death can destroy that combination. We were always delighted by Daphne's keen power of observation, her ready wit and her gracious hospitality , not to mention that signature chocolate cake! We join with all who mourn her passing in giving thanks for the life she shared with you and with us. Please accept our condolences. Sincerely, Russ and Bonnie

My beautiful Great Aunt Daphne will be so very missed. I will always remember going to visit in Harbour Grace and seeing her rush around to get tea ready. Tea of course consisting of a dozen types of cookies on her fancy silver serving tray and a cake or two that seemed to appear from nowhere. Always the hostess I will never forget the huge family dinners at Christmas and going over for a sleepover when I was a little girl and having my own room for the night. No one will ever be able to replicate your famous chocolate cake. The most anticipated Christmas gift of the Noel children. Uncle Bruce you are in my thoughts so much right now. I love you and wish I could be there for you

Uncle Bruce, sorry to hear of aunt Daph's passing. I always admired how much of a gentleman you were to her. I would always tell people how you would open the car door for her and hold up her coat for her to slip into, I can still see it now so fresh in my mind. I'll never forget all the amazing meals she served at your house, or the mansion as I would call it. She would always say yes when I would call and ask her if a friend & I could come stay over for the night. She was a beautiful woman! Thinking of you this week and all the days ahead.
