Obituary of Walter Vivian Hiscock
Passed peacefully away at his residence on Monday, May 13, 2019, Walter Vivian Hiscock of Victoria, age 83 years. Predeceased by wife: Shirley; parents: Walter and Edith; sister: Velma (Montrose) Mulroney; brother: Philip. Leaving to mourn, six sons: William 'Bill' (Kimberley), Philip (Jill), Gilbert (Ruby), Derek (Grace), all of Victoria, Anthony (Mary-Lynn), St. John’s and Byron (Maureen), Grand Falls-Windsor; thirteen grandchildren: Vanessa, Grant, Jennifer, Natalie, Matthew, Rebecca, Andrew, Victoria, Tyler, Hilary, Sarah, Gavin, and Faith; fifteen great-grandchildren: Tiffany, Jack, Ben, Owen, Joseph, Desiree, Evan, Norah, Cameron, Lucy, Hope, William, Levi, Isaac, and Thomas; special nephews: Irwin, Myron and Shawn Mulroney; homecare worker: Michelle Noseworthy; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Cremation to follow. A private family inurnment will take place in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House, PO Box 28091, 150 Clinch Crescent, St. John's, NL, A1B 1X0.
