Dear Cron and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of dear Louise. She was a
lovely Christian lady. She was my babysitter and Sunday School teacher when I
was very young. Later I became the Sunday School teacher of her girls and also their babysitter while Cron brought Louise and baby 'Douglas Cron' home from the hospital. Ken and I have many happy memories of visits to your home for lovely meals and enjoyable conversations. Just about a week before Louise's passing my 96 year old mother told me what a huge help Louise and her sister Isabel were to her when we were young. That is why we have a Louise Isabel in our family! You are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. The Lord draw near and give comfort.
Wonderful to know she is forever with the Lord and we will meet again!
Jesus himself drew near and went with them. Luke 24:15
With Christian love, Ken and Doris Taylor

Cron and family, this morning we were quite saddened and shocked to hear of Louise's passing. We have many happy, fun memories of you all especially when you lived in St. John's. We can't forget the many meals that we had at your place and the trips "around the bay" where we often enjoyed Jigg's dinners at the old house. Also, the time when you visited Ben's home in Shoe Cove - out in the boat and having "boil-ups" on the beach. Wishing that we could be there at this time but know that we are praying for you all. She will certainly be greatly missed but it's comforting to know that while she is " absent from the body,(she) is present with the Lord". 2Cor.5:8

Being the youngest and only boy of the family one could say I had an unfair advantage over my siblings when it came to garnishing mothers affection. For this extra sprinkle of love however came with its consequences. Not a day would go by without a harassing reminder from at least one of my sisters of whom was the gleam in mom’s eye. Even though I had etched out a corner of mothers heart for my own I would repeatedly shatter it by straying off the path she had guided me down. Forgiveness and a warm smile was always waiting to welcome you home. Her undying love and influence in our lives will always shine through which nothing can quell . Love you mother

The only thing better than having you for a Mom is my children having you for a Grandma. Our boys have so many memories of growing up with you. Your endless visits to British Columbia to celebrate Christmas and Summer holidays with us. We will never forget the taste of your baked goods, baked with Love. We've even picked up a few of her baking tricks along the way. Rest in peace, Mom.
Love Doug and Donna

The memories of nan will never fade as she has left so many loving family members behind. To me nan will always be the voice of caution, the one to go see when you need a break from the world, when in need of being sooked up she was always there. So many of my memories of nan are her in the kitchen whipping up some delicious meal for everyone, or eating breakfast with her and laughing at all the hair pins in her head, pop would call her pin head. Or the memory of getting a little chuckle every time I would watch her put the trusty storm bonnet over her hair to protect the curls. Nan’s memory can never die as she has touched and moulded so many of us, she has left behind a boat load of children grand children and great grand children. I can almost guarantee that from now until forever there will never be a descendent of this family that won’t hear about the famous buns of my nan Louise. Try to remember how blessed we are to have had nan with us for so many years. Love you all.

Brother Cron and family so sorry for your loss...my memory of her was she was a wonderful woman of faith.
Proverbs 31:10-31 - Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies. Proverbs 3:15 - She [is] more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Cron and family and Harold, I was sorrowed to learn of Louise's passing. The Stone and Spracklin families go back some seventy years. I remember how Louise and Isabel, would give Harold a bath in an old galvanized tub on the back veranda on Penneywell Road. I also remember the old chicken coup. 'God knows the way, He holds the Key.'

Dear Uncle Cron, Lois, Ruth, Janice and Doug
My love and prayers are with you all as you go through this difficult time. Aunt Louise was such a loving and kind person over all the years. I have so many good memories of her.... from going to your house for Sunday dinner, to having get togethers, boilups, then in recent years I would see her sometimes when she and your dad were visiting my dad or mom during their last years. I'm so glad you all got to be there with her. Hugs, June
