Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 24, 2020, Louise Lynch of Carbonear; formerly of St. John’s, age 88 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Janet Stone; sister: Isabelle; brother: William. Leaving to mourn, husband: Cron; three daughters: Lois (Stephane) Gratton, Caledon, ON, Ruth (Jim) Clarke, Sylvan Lake, AB, and Janice (Greg) Snow, St. Philips; one son: Douglas (Donna), Conception Bay South; eight grandchildren: Beth Anne, Andrew, Danielle, Matthew, Tiffany, Jesse, Kyle, and Jordan; five great-grandchildren: Walker, Harley, Ethan, Rosa, and Hunter; one brother: Harold (Doreen) Stone, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, January 27 at 10:30 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 70 Ropewalk Lane, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3R9.
