Clarence Cecil Burgess, age 67, of Carbonear, NL. Passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at home. Born in Carbonear, he was the son of the late Cecil and Clara (Evely) Burgess. Clarence served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at New Minas and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia; Twillingate, Bay Roberts, Harbour Grace and Hopedale, Labrador, before retiring from the Harbour Grace Detachment with 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife: Cheryl ‘Sherry’ (Case); two sons: Trent (Michelle); grandsons: William (Laura Curtis) and Steven, Bay Bulls; Micheal (Chantelle); grandson: Kayden; granddaughter: Kaylee, Carbonear; sisters: Helen Harding, Ottawa, Pauline Taggart (Ian), Ontario, Donna Pynn (Phil), Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Diane Burgess, Ontario, Dorothy Burgess, Victoria, Debra Vaters (Rex), Carbonear’ brother-in-law: Jim Case (Bev), Mt. Pearl; special niece: Heather Harding LeGault, Ottawa; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by brothers: Wallace and Lloyd; brother-in-law: Jim Harding. There will be no visitation or Funeral Service. Burial to take place at a later date. *********
