JOHNSON, Max - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, February 14, 2013, Max Johnson of Job's Cove, age 89 years. Predeceased by 1st wife: Mildred; 2nd wife: Mary; son: Walter; granddaughter: Tracey; brothers: Newman, Bill and Walter; sisters: Josephine, Blanche, Violet Mae and Sarah. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Elizabeth 'Betty' (Patrick) Murphy, Job's Cove and Judy (Rev) King, Perry's Cove; nine grandchildren: Shawn (Wanda), Trevor (Gina), Cathy (Bobby), Lisa (Jason), Amanda, Barbara, Michelle, Denise (Donny) and Lynn (Dwayne); twelve great-grandchildren: Morgan, Alaina, Samantha, Rebecca, Sean, Terri-Lynn, Ashley, Tiffany, Jessica, Dawn, Noah and Rylan; one great-great-grandchild: Nevaeh; step-daughter: Sheila (Randy) O'Brien, Cape Broyle; daughter-in-law: Eileen Johnson, Job's Cove; sister-in-law: Blanche Stockwood, Luxury Estates, Carbonear; special friend: Mary Davidson, Job's Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Memorial United Church, Burnt Point on Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in Faith United Cemetery, Job's Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Roseville Orange Lodge #167, Salmon Cove.
