Obituary of A. Lloyd LeShane

Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving grandson Zachary, at home, A. Lloyd LeShane of Lower Island Cove, age 85 years.
Predeceased by loving wife of 51 years, Jean; parents: Mary (nee Cooper) and Robert LeShane; parents-in-law: Beulah (nee Inkpen) and John (Jack) Sparkes; brothers: Frederick (Ethel) and Philip LeShane.
Leaving to mourn, son: Robert (Marlene), Lower Island Cove; daughter: Carol Ann (Todd Goodwin), Oshawa, Ontario; grandchildren: Mark, Vanessa (Andrew McCallagh), Zachary and Stephanie; brother: Frank (Marg) LeShane, Lower Island Cove; sisters-in-law: Belle (Calvin) Butt, Bay Roberts and Louise (Eric) Snelgrove, Truro, Nova Scotia, and Florence LeShane, Lower Island Cove; brother-in-law: Donald (Patricia) Sparkes, Lower Island Cove; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
At Lloyd’s request, cremation has taken place.
Visitation at The Salvation Army, Lower Island Cove Corps on Sunday, May 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
A celebration of life service will take place at The Salvation Army, Lower Island Cove Corps on Monday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to The Salvation Army Lower Island Cove Corps or a charity of one's choice.
