Condolences to the Crummey and Snook families. I met Mary Jane at the United Church in Western Bay about 8 years ago. After a short discussion we realized we were distant relatives with a Boyd’s Cove connection. We had many chats thereafter. Mary always had a smile, a story, and many kisses. She always reminded me of my Boyd’s Cove relatives. She reconnected with my Aunt Myrtle Love who was her distant cousin and a friend. They had many telephone chats talking about the old days growing up in Boyd’s Cove. I will remember her with a smile. She was a very nice Christian lady. Hoping your memories provide you with strength and comfort in the days ahead.

Janice, I just read about Mary Jane's passing. There are no adequate words for such an occurrence, really, but I am sorry for your loss. I remember my visits with George and Mary Jane at their home in Western Bay when I was stationed at Hant's Harbour. She was wonderful, outgoing person who always made me fell welcome. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Jan and all the Crummey family, so very sorry to hear about Mary Jane. She was a dear friend when I lived in NL. She was my choir buddy and we had many visits at her home in Western Bay. I use to bring over my Q chord and we would sing hymns together. She loved singing hymns and such a devoted Christian who loved her family dearly. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and will be so missed. Sending heartfelt condolences to you all. Heaven has another beautiful angel and you will be missed by all your family and friends. To The Crummey Family; Memories. We have so many memories. There are memories of the good times and the bad. Memories from long ago, and memories from times gone by that we barely even remember. Bill and Stan were great co-workers and often got together on the weekend. Mary was a great lady and we had many great times when we got together. To the Crummey Family, I had the privilege of helping Mrs. Snook or Mary Jane as she wanted me to call her. She was a very sweet lady who loved to laugh. We couldn’t get any of her care done because we laughed so much. I remember painting her nails on her hands and feet and oh my goodness how ticklish she was. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and who adored her family. Please accept my deepest condolences.

To the Crummey family. I am so sorry to hear of your mother, grandmother's passing. I got to know her really well when I worked with Foodland in Carbonear. Her And Jan would make their weekly visits and I would never be able to escape that warm hug from her. Through the years whenever we met that hug was more special each time.
