Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, August 13, 2023, Mary Jane Crummey-Snook of Western Bay, age 89 years. Predeceased by her first husband: Stanley Crummey of Western Bay; second husband: George Snook of Victoria; two sons: Boivan and Wayne Crummey; parents: Bert and Elizabeth Waterman; brother: Gerald Waterman; son-in-law: Ray Peddle; daughter-in-law: Christine Crummey; parents-in-law: Donald and Jessie Crummey. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Janice Peddle and Paula (Sam) White; three sons: Douglas (Crystal) Crummey, Robert (Kim) Crummey, and John (Bonnie) Crummey; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother: Bert (Roma) Waterman; daughters-in-law; Carol (Sellars) Crummey and Carol (Reid) Crummey; sister-in-law: Annie Waterman; also a large number of other relatives and friends; She loved you all. Special thank you to her homecare workers, as well as the staff of Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, 1 North. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, August 15 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South.
