Uncle Clarence loved life and family! I will always remember my Very Special Uncle! He had a way of always making me feel loved and welcome every time I went to visit him, unfortunately due to the miles between us that was not real often. I will always remember his humour...he always had a joke or a story to tell that was guaranteed to make me laugh. I enjoyed spending time with him and I especially enjoyed the hugs and kisses and I will miss them.
I remember from a very young child his visits to the West Coast to visit my Grandmother (his sister). There was so much love and laughter between them...I don't know if there was anything else that my Grandmother enjoyed more. I am so glad that after my Grandmother passed away that Uncle Clarence still kept in contact with our family, and him and Aunt Emmie would travel the many miles to still visit with us and they spent many nights at my house with me right up to a couple of years ago. I am going to miss visiting with him when I travel to the East Coast, but I will never forget him. I am sure that he is so happy to be reunited with the love of his life Aunt Emmie and I am sure she was waiting with her arms outstretched. I love you, Uncle Clarence! I will never forget you! XXOO

Roy, Margaret, Mable, Elizabeth, Gertie and Families, We were very saddened to hear of your father's passing. Words cannot express how we feel over this loss. We send our deepest sympathies to you all at this time. Uncle Clarence was one of the best Uncles anyone could have. He was such a loving, gentle, funny and kindhearted man. He gave so freely of his hugs and kisses. Our family will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am sure there is a great celebration going on in Heaven right now as Uncle Clarence is reunited with the love of his life Aunt Emmie. May you all take comfort in the knowledge that he is now very happy!

To Roy, the girls and families: Our deepest sympathies to you all at this sad time. Many memories of your Dad and your mom until her passing. They were both great friends to our Mother always driving her to church with them and spent many hours at her home in Job's Cove. A wonderful friend indeed. Thinking of you all as you mourn the loss of your Dad.

To the Pottle family my deepest condolence. Clarence will be missed by all. I was only a little girl then but loved when he would come to the house to play cards(120) with my mom (Amelia Reid) and dad (Gilbert Reid). There was always a good story to hear and lots of fun to be had. He will be sadly missed but always loved by his family and friends. The Reid Family - Donna, Ricky, & Lisa.
