POTTLE, Clarence G. - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, April 13, 2013, Clarence G. Pottle of Job's Cove, age 89 years. Predeceased by wife: Emmie; son: Roger Gary; granddaughter: Wendy; grandson: Randy; sister: Mary Pottle. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Margaret (Thomas) Mayo, Paradise, Mable (Donald) Pender, St. Philip's, Elizabeth Murphy, Toronto, ON and Gertie (Donald) Milley, Paradise; one son: Roy (Jill), Paradise; five grandchildren: Donnie (Melissa), Karen, Amanda, Renee and Ryan; four great-grandchildren: Ashley, Faith, Haleigh and Travis; two sisters: Edna and Evelyn, both of Halifax; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in the United Cemetery, Job's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Cemetery, Job's Cove.
