surprised to see your moms obituary. Equally surprised to know she was 88yrs. I remember her as she was when i lived across the road. So many memories. My sisters will also be surprised to hear of her passing. Ican speak for us all when i say you have our deepest sympathies.

My dear friend Myrtle , Bruce and Glenda, I was so sorry to learn of your Moms passing. She was gem , put up with us all during the time of the old sheep farm. Oh my lord the the many sleepovers and she never minded having us.. she always knew what we were up to no matter what, but she never said much , except when she’d call my house and we weren’t there. I know how much you are hurting today and I hope that your memories will get you through the next few days. Love you xoxo

Florence didn't like having her picture taken, but back in 2010, she just couldn't refuse. I was flying back to Newfoundland from the U.S. and Florence was flying back from Toronto. On the jet to St. John's, I was looking for my seat in row 24 when who should I see but Florence sitting right behind me in row 25. What are the chances of that happening? Here's a photo I took of her on that special day. She was always so kind to Mary and me and made us feel so welcome in Lower Island Cove. Lance Tock & Mary Percival

Condolences to Myrtle Glenda Bruce and family on the loss of your Mom. I use to visit her some time and I think the more I said to her the more she came back with her choise words. Her and mom were not only family but Best friends who chatted on the phone every morning. Last time I visit her she was very happy to see me and said don’t forget to drop in to see her again. Deepest condolences to the entire family. Florence (Flossy, as I called her) and Phil were great friends to my parents Tom and Isabel Martin. Not only were they friends but family as well!
