Obituary of Florence E. LeShane

Passed peacefully away at her residence in Lower Island Cove on Thursday, August 29, 2024, Florence E. LeShane of Lower Island Cove, age 88 years.
Predeceased by husband: Philip; parents: John and Lillian Garland; sister: Mabel Sparkes.
Leaving to mourn, daughters: Myrtle (Scott) Clarke and Glenda (Todd) Oliver; son: Bruce (Greta); grandchildren: Philip (Jolene & Tori), Kyle, Amber (Jordan), Drew, Ian, and Dawn (Blair); great-grandchildren; John Clarke and Parker Arsenault; brothers: Fred (Geraldine-deceased) Garland and Gordon (Peggy) Garland; sisters: Myrtle (John) Clarke and Jacqueline (Isaac) Gilbert; brothers-in-law: Philip Sparkes and Frank (Marg) LeShane; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to her homecare workers for their loving care and compassion.
Visitation at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Saturday, August 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, September 1 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
