Obituary of Robert Snelgrove

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Sunday, October 6, 2024, Robert Snelgrove of Lower Island Cove, age 77 years. Predeceased by wife, Thelma; parents: Cecil and Stella Snelgrove; brother: Lloyd. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Beverly (Ross) LeShane and Lori Robbins; grandchildren: Victoria LeShane, Erica LeShane, and Lucy Robbins; sisters-in-law: Daphne Murphy (Cyril - deceased), Inez Milley (Albert - deceased), Mary Moores (Allan - deceased), Doris Snelgrove (Lloyd - deceased); also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend to many. He had a witty sense of humor, with a warm and generous heart. He will be sadly missed by all those he touched. Special thanks to Dr. Nel, nursing staff, and lab personnel for their professionalism, kindness, and support. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Wednesday, October 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday October 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment at the United Church Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
