Judy, Donald, Amanda, and my loving Rogers' cousins. I am so sorry to hear of Selby's passing.l have no doubt that he is already reunited with Aunt May, Uncle Alf and his sisters and brothers who have gone before him. I remember the last time we saw Selby in Harbour Grace. He had an airplane pin in his lapel (The Spirit of Harbour Grace). Eric (Butch) was admiring it and before we knew it, Selby had it out of his jacket and pinned on Eric's. That was another example of Selby's kind heart. God Bless Doris Bishop

Judy, Don and Amanda: So very sorry to hear of Selby’s passing. He was a loving husband who was dearly loved and gave that love back three fold. He has suffered much over the years but kept plugging through the good and the bad. He is at peace now. I know you will truly miss him but hopefully the memories of what you shared together will help you through the days ahead. Take care and hope to be in touch soon. Judy - Don and extended family of Selby Selby was a few years older than I am and I cannot ever remember him not being around . I have a great hockey picture of our St Paul’s high school championship team of 1962 - Selby was our trainer - stick man . He was part of the fabric of Harbour Grace during his lifetime . Well I remember him as an important and highly respected member of the great RCSCC Beothic Sea Cadet Corps of 1963. All who knew him - liked him . He was a pleasant - kind and gentle personality . He will be missed indeed . Sincere condolences to all those who mourn his passing- Godspeed Selby
