CLARKE, Caroline I. 'Callie' - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, Caroline I. 'Callie' Clarke of Carbonear, age 74 years. Predeceased by husband: Edgar; parents: Douglas and Peninnah Jackson; sister: Audrey McDougall; brothers-in-law: John Howell and Eric Clarke; niece: Marilyn Noges. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Michele (Gordon) Case, Mount Pearl; son: Colin (Heather), Carbonear; three grandchildren: Adam, Katelyn and Devon; three sisters: Elva (Stanley) Pye, Harbour Grace, Vera (Hector) Sooley, Heart's Delight and Janet (John C.) Pauls, Ontario; sisters-in-law: Grace Howell, St. John's and Barbara Clarke, Ottawa, ON; ten nieces and two nephews; special friends: Herman and Jeanette Walters, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church or the Carbonear General Hospital Auxiliary.
