Some memories I would like to share with everyone, by her brother Victor.
When myself and Marina were married, we spend our wedding night, and six days at Hazel and Les' house in Freshwater, Carbonear. For 7 winters after we were married, we stayed there. Myself and Les lugged water for washing and cooking and so on, because that was how it was done back then.
Times might have been harder, but there was always time for each other. When I lived in Labrador City, I spent a lot of time with Hazel, Les and their family.
When they moved back home to Carbonear, we would go down to their home all the time.
Playing guitars, having a sing-along, and of course Hazel always had the pot on the stove , and the smell of her homemade bread was something I always enjoyed.
When Les passed away, Marina and I would spend the weekends with her.
The last time we spent together was at her home on her 80th birthday. We had a wonderful time.
No matter where Hazel and I went, we always kept in contact with each other.
This is just a few memories that time cannot erase.
God took Hazel to his heavenly home, her smile and loving face he needed there to brighten up his place.
Love always, your brother Victor.
Till we meet again, dear sister Hazel:
Keep the kettle warm!

Our deepest sympathy to all the Snow family with the passing of a wonderful lady. Margaret and I hold dearly the memories of many visits to the home of Les and Hazel when we resided in Labrador. It seemed that our visits often coincided with Hazel making homemade bread and we always left with a fresh loaf. Although our paths have not crossed as often as we would have wished in recent years, our memories live on and we know that we will meet again.

Paul, Carol, Pam, Derrick & Brenda I'm saddened to hear of Aunt Hazel's passing. In the days ahead when you feel sad and lonely, don't let death rob you of the joy, happiness and love that was your Mom. I remember the days when you lived Across The Doors, back then everyone was your Aunt and Uncle and you felt free to wander on in at any time in their homes. It was during those times that it became so evident that each of you were a very important pivotal part of Aunt Hazel's world, for she spoke of you all, with so much pride, love and affection. As you mourn her today, remember her smile and smile with her because to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord whom she loved and served. A Mother's Love Is Truely A Blessing. You're in my thoughts & Prayers, Margie Evely Tuttle

To Paul, Carol, Pam, Derrick & Brenda and famlies, Sorry to here of your Mom's Passing. The last time i spoke to her was at Charles funeral and i think she knew who i was because she gave me a big smile and caught hold of my hand. I guess I've known Hazel all my life from way back in Flatrock. I told Mom about your Mother and she seemed to remember her but then she asked who she was married to and when I told her about Les and Aunt Barbara and Uncle Jack then she told me where she lived, it's strange how some things can trigger their memory. Your Mom is gone to a better place where trying to remember won't be a problem any more. Sorry I can't be there with you But you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless! Gerald & Grace[Snow] Rose
