Obituary of Hazel R. Snow

SNOW, Hazel R.- Passed peacefully away at Yucalta Lodge, Campbell River, BC, on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, Hazel R. Snow of Carbonear, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Lester M.; parents: Silas and Amy Smith; brother: Arthur Smith; brothers-in-law: Edward Butt and Obadiah Penney. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Carol (David) Russell, Coley's Point, Pamela (Leo) Myles and Brenda Guthrie, both of Campbell River, BC; two sons: Paul Barnes (Maureen), Corner Brook and Derrick (Glenna) Snow, Carbonear; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother: Victor (Marina) Smith, Bishop's Cove; two sisters: Rita Butt, Carbonear and Viola Penney, Salmon Cove; sister-in-law: Rose Smith, Mount Pearl; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, April 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m. from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Carbonear. Interment in Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Hazel's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
